Joe graduated from the Business School at the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2004, with a BBA in real estate and finance. Immediately after school, Joe moved to San Francisco to work for Benfield helping large insurance and reinsurance companies create risk transfer vehicles.
This job utilized Joe's networking abilities and analytical skills and it was soon obvious Joe had a knack for business development.
In 2006, Joe moved to New York to began a career as a commodity trader on Wall Street. Joe perfected cold calling and quickly moved up the ranks from a Broker Trainee to running an entire office of traders. It was there Joe learned and honed his abilities to build, train, and motivate a sales team and grew the office revenues over 300% and doubled the number of (new) clients in less than a year.
In late 2008, Joe co-founded 2Family, a non-profit to help work with at risk and underprivileged kids. 2Family works (along with our very generous sponsors) to help connect at-risk children with resources and guidance to instill the importance of goal setting, motivation and optimism.
Hungry to get back into the for profit space, Joe started JDS Consulting Group in 2009 to help share his passion for business growth with fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners. JDS has seen growth in each of the first three years and is committed to growing sales (both internally and for our partners) with integrity.
Joe has started and consulted with numerous companies for over 10 years and has an unmatched drive for customer service, constant improvement and producing results for his business partners. When not at work, Joe spends his time traveling, exercising, watching sports and reading.
